Gabe Porter

Of the Control Team

Role:

Drone Technician – Site Maintenance & Autonomous Systems

Connection to Red McCrae:

Gabe barely interacted with Red — at least, not that he remembers. But Red once left a comment in a site-wide memo, referencing “Porter’s log scrubbing” and calling it “unacceptable silence.”

Gabe didn’t even submit that log.

So… who did?

Personality:

Lazy on the surface, but sharp beneath. Gabe is the guy who does the minimum required — and just enough to stay two steps ahead. He doesn’t talk much, doesn’t panic, and never shows his full hand. Because he’s already watching yours.

Background:

Gabe was hired to run the drone fleet’s maintenance and analytics. That meant fixing cameras, replacing rotors, and checking video feeds — until one day, a drone came back with corrupted footage from a tunnel no one had access to.

He checked the metadata.
The timestamp was wrong.
Future wrong.

He reported it. The drone was “lost in storage.” But not before he pulled the backup.

And he’s not the only one who’s seen it.
Red did too.

Character Goal:

Quietly track what Red found. Keep your footage safe. And decide whether to leak the truth — or sell it.

Tasks – Track your own points

🎭 Social Tasks (1 pt each)

Deliver these lines in private or low tones. Sound disinterested. Or dead serious.

  • To Max Duvall: “The override logs still have your username. You didn’t clear it.”

  • To Reggie Tomlin: “Your system didn’t record the echo. Mine did.”

  • To Genevieve Blackwell: “If Red trusted you, why didn’t he leave you the access key?”

🤝 Interaction Task (2 pt)

Task: Pass a Message Secretly

Pass a note like:
“I found his voice in my logs.”
“Brittany has an Overseer code.”
“If anyone gets too close, warn me.”

Keep it quiet. No repeats.

🔥 Suspicious Task (2 pt)

Task: Erase Your Name from the Sign-In Sheet

Quietly remove your name. If confronted, say:
“I came in through sub-access. Drone hatch 12B doesn’t log entries.”

🕵️ Assigned Personal Questions (Answer if asked, don’t volunteer)

  1. From Madison Greene: “Who else had access to your override command?”

  2. From Reggie Tomlin: “Why did your system spell out that vault symbol?”

  3. From Nelson McTavish: “Why is your drone footage timestamped after Red’s death?”

Answer carefully. One of those questions is more dangerous than the others.

🎯 Bonus Objective (6 pt)

If someone asks to see the footage, pretend it’s gone.
Say you lost the logs. Say they were overwritten.
Then later, “leak” it to a player of your choice — and frame someone else with the timestamp.
