Madison Greene

Of the Control Team

Role:

Data Analyst – Statistical Forensics, Predictive Modeling

Connection to Red McCrae:

Red didn’t like algorithms. “The mine doesn’t run on numbers,” he once said. But even Red came to respect Madison when she discovered a pattern in safety incidents that matched exactly with unlogged seismic activity — a pattern no one else had caught.

He left her one thing before he died: a corrupted file labeled P13-echo.csv.

She decrypted it.
And hasn’t told anyone what it showed.

Personality:

Rational, composed, and brilliant. Madison sees data where others see chaos. She trusts math, not people — especially not the ones telling her she’s “too cold” or “too precise.” Underneath her logic, though, there’s someone scared of what she can’t explain.

Background:

Madison built predictive models for collapse risk and air quality fluctuations. But lately, her model has been spitting out errors. It predicted something 17 hours before Red’s death: a 94.6% chance of non-accidental mortality in Shaft 13-C.

She flagged it.
Veritas dismissed it.
Red died 17 hours later.

Now she’s back on site. With her model offline, and her instincts screaming that the dataset isn’t wrong — just incomplete.

Character Goal:

Rebuild the dataset. Confirm what the anomaly predicted. And prove, with numbers, that this wasn’t just a murder. It was a pattern.
A probability.
A warning.

Tasks – Track your own points

🎭 Social Tasks (1 pt each)

Say these lines in-character, privately and without explaining further:

  • To Sarah Talbot: “If Red meant for you to find the medallion… why didn’t he log it?”

  • To Genevieve Blackwell: “What did your father leave out of the 1965 records?”

  • To Nelson McTavish: “You said the walls echo — but echoes follow sound. Who made the first noise?”

🤝 Interaction Task (2 pt)

Task: Pass a Message Secretly

Write a message and pass it to another player. It could be truth or lie:
“The vault model predicts collapse in 72 hours.”
“Red’s data was tampered with — by Gabe.”
“Genevieve’s lying about her clue.”

🔥 Suspicious Task (2 pt)

Task: Intercept a Message Not Meant for You

If you see a note passed, grab it. Keep it. Don’t return it unless someone forces you.
Bonus if you use the contents to alter someone’s trust in another player.

🕵️ Assigned Personal Questions (Answer if asked, don’t volunteer)

  1. From Jonah Briggs: “Do you really believe Red accessed the system after death?”

  2. From Issac Boone: “Why did Veritas bring you in right now?”

  3. From Nelson McTavish: “What data anomalies did you find about Red?”

  4. From Max Green: "“You ran the model, didn’t you? What did it really predict?”"

Answer coolly. With hard facts. Or too-calm ambiguity. Either way, never raise your voice.

🎯 Bonus Objective (6 pt)

Discredit someone else's data or “evidence” publicly.
Choose a time to calmly, surgically destroy someone else’s clue, chart, or theory.
Bonus if you make others side with you when it happens.
