Genevieve Blackwell
Of the Control Team
Role:
Union Leader’s Daughter
Connection to Red McCrae:
Red was more than a mentor — he was a second father. Red and Genevieve’s father once led the miner’s union shoulder-to-shoulder, before the “collapse” dissolved everything — including her trust in Veritas Minerals. Red taught her how to read the mine's veins like a map of buried truth.
Personality:
Sharp-tongued, independent, and laser-focused. Genevieve doesn’t soften her words for anyone. She’s justice-driven, rules-optional, and deeply suspicious of authority — especially the polished suits funding this reopening.
Background:
Genevieve vanished from Black Hollow after her father’s mental breakdown. Rumors say she joined protest groups and hacker collectives before returning to town. But it wasn’t nostalgia that brought her back — it was the strange message from Red:
“They found something. I can't stop it alone. If it’s the same thing your father saw… we’re in trouble.”
Now Red is dead. Her father is silent. And the union she believed in may have been built on a lie.
Character Goal:
Find out what Red uncovered — and whether her father’s madness was caused by the same secret that killed Red.
Tasks – Track your own points
🎭 Social Tasks (1 pt each)
You must locate the following people and speak the line to them when no one else is around:
To Max Duvall: “Red trusted you with the logs? Or did you just hack them? If you find the logs can I see them?”
To Paul Kendrick: “You and Red kept secrets long before I came back. I'm not here to play nice.”
To Madison Greene: “What exactly did your model predict — and who are you protecting?”
🤝 Interaction Task (2 pt)
Task: Confront Someone You Suspect
Publicly accuse someone of suspicious behavior (your choice), real or fabricated. Bonus if you involve others in the callout.
🔥 Suspicious Task (2 pt)
Task: Replace a Clue With a Fake One
Quietly switch a clue (e.g., photo, coordinates, vault key) with a falsified version. Write your fake clue ahead of time and have it ready.
You cannot tell anyone unless caught.
🕵️ Assigned Personal Questions (Answer if asked, don’t volunteer)
From Max Duvall: “Are you here for answers, or for revenge?”
From Madison Greene: “What did your father tell you about the 1965 incident?”
From Paul Kendrick: “Why did Red trust you with the union map?”
Answer in-character — the more confident or cryptic you are, the more fun this becomes.
🎯 Bonus Objective (6 pt)
If your real clue (the carbon copy of page 13) gets into the hands of someone you don’t trust — retrieve or destroy it.
If you’re caught with the real and fake version, improvise. That’s what Red would’ve done.
